A new load distribution strategy for linear network with communication delays
2009, Mathematics and Computers in SimulationCitation Excerpt :The concepts of optimal sequencing and optimal arrangement are introduced in [6]. For homogeneous networks (all the processors in the network have the same computational capability and all the links have the same communication capability) an asymptotic performance analysis for the processing time is carried out in [10,17,24]. The divisible load scheduling concept presented in earlier works can be easily extended to 2D-meshes [10], 2D-toroidal mesh [11], 3D-meshes [16,18], hypercube [9] and partition-able networks [24].
