Attributes management is a subset of general “authorization data” management (see authorizationarchitecture) in which the data being managed is attributes associated with entities in an environment. An attribute may be defined as follows [1]: “an inherent characteristic; an accidental quality; an object closely associated with or belonging to a specific person, thing, or office."
