Training assisting program with hybrid decision supporting system

Abstract

Use of simulation the computer aided training systems make possibility of teaching dynamic systems’ operators in situations when training process with use of real object could be dangerous or impossible. It is also much cheaper than classical training when real object is in use. But use of computer gives also possibility to make a program which have some instructor’s abilities. Such program gives advices to trainee and estimates his skills what allows instructor to focus on other aspects of training process. It is necessary the teaching program must adapt to trainee skills, trained situation and other aspects of training. To meet this requirement the program should use artificial intelligence. This article presents a training assisting program based on cooperation of predicate logic (main method) supplemented by fuzzy logic and neural network. Presented system is designed to train civil aviation pilots but it is possible to adapt them to train operators of any dynamic object (ex. car drivers, production line operators, etc.).
