Abstract
The paper discusses parallelization of codes and algorithms used in Computational Fluid Dynamics. A theoretical model is presented for parallelization based on domain decomposition. This model allows for quantitative prediction of acceleration and efficiency. Finally, certain unresolved problems related to grid environment are reported.
