Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a fast and efficient global registration technique in photo-stitching, in which, the layout of the set of images has multiple rows and columns. The proposed algorithm uses a graph based model to deal with the problem of global registration. By using alternative path from the graph containing the image layout, it is possible to align the images against the reference image when pair-wise registration fails.
