Abstract
The AWACS Passive Tracking algorithms are being implemented on the Goodyear STARAN computer installation at RADC. Difficulties encountered during the implementation due to the limitations of the hardware architecture and system software are identified. The design concepts which were used to minimize these difficulties are discussed. Possible improvements to the hardware and software which may be of benefit to future applications programmers are recommended.
