Abstract

A method is presented in this paper for the analysis of characteristics of infrared images from antitank missile systems. It is shown that some of the invariant moments of these images can be calculated from the projection function of targets. Based on theoretic analysis and computer simulation results, the possibility of using only two of the invariant moments in such systems is discussed.
