Abstract

Smart sensor nodes integrate multiple sensors (e.g., temperature, humidity, accelerometers), processing capability (microprocessor connected to the sensors using I2C technology), wireless communications, and a battery power source. A sensor node could be as small as a few millimeters. See references [32.11], [32.12].
