Abstract

In this paper a new tool for monitoring the different queues of messages in a PVM environment is presented. The main aim of implementing this facility is to provide a means of capturing the bottlenecks and overheads of the communication system in a PVM-Linux cluster. Also, it will allow to know the communication pattern of a distributed application. Its good behaviour has been proved experimentally.
