Abstract
The topic of this first panel session was algorithms and computations. Bill Triggs chaired the discussion and David Nister, Kenichi Kanatani, Jean Ponce and Zhengyou Zhang also participated. Each panelist discussed the issues that he felt were going to be important in the future. The panel session was followed by some questions and discussions which are also reported here.
