Abstract
This paper describes the team FU-Fighters that won the second place in the RoboCup’99 F180-league competition.
The paper presents the mechanical and electrical design of our robots, including a kicking device. We also explain the hierarchical control architecture we used to generate the behavior of individual agents and the team. This reactive approach is mainly based on the Dual Dynamics concept developed by H. Jäger. In addition we describe, how the problems of vision and radio communication have been addressed.
