Abstract
This paper deals with the developments of the French team in RoboCup 2002 Sony legged league. For this event, Sony provided new quadruped robots that were able to compute and move faster, and to see further. The robots got improved skills in locomotion and vision. Compared to last year, soccer games were more lively with a lot of goals scored. Our team focused on designing a localization procedure while walking by taking into account significant and reliable information from the vision system.
