Abstract

In this paper we discuss our research in developing an application for data gathering. The key ideas are to realize an agent-based architecture which merges different technologies and paradigms in order to discover and extract consistent patterns of knowledge from Web pages, that fully describe the user requests. This goal is achieved by embedding into deductive agents the ability to process approximate knowledge.
