Abstract
Trading partners exchanging business messages follow each a predefined protocol called a public process (“public”, because its definition is publicly available). Internal processing of received or to be sent business messages is done through private processes that are invisible to trading partners. Public processes are quite complex because they rely on inherently insecure and unreliable networks. Furthermore, they need to be linked with private processes without revealing their internal logic. This paper introduces an advanced model for defining public processes based on a set of elaborate requirements.
