Abstract
Over the last decade significant theoretical and practical advances have been made in several key logic programming technologies, notably abstract interpretation, program transformations, constraint processing, tabling and semantics of negation. These advances have contributed to the development of a new generation of powerful and efficient logic programming systems that are beginning to be deployed as the implementation platform in state-of-the-art tools in different application domains.
This talk will describe the current status and future plans of two such systems, XMC and WebRover, implemented using the XSB tabled logic programming system that embodies many of these advances.
