Abstract
This paper examines the network management and diagnostics for Secure LANs. The effect that adding security to existing LANs will have on the existing network management and diagnostic procedures are examined. The use of protocol analyzers, testers, and automated testers will be projected into a secure LAN. The introduction of security will affect the way that each of these tools is used.
