Abstract

Fuzzy Logic has emerged rapidly in various technical applications. In this paper an application of fuzzy logic in image processing is presented with respect to fast classification of images and patterns. The approach of classification is based on fuzzy modelling with multiple inputs and a single output. Additionally the possibility of optimizing a very simple fuzzy rule set using neural networks is shown.
