Abstract

The monitoring of the activities of a computing system is fundamental for performance evaluation, system tuning and resource utilization. In this paper a distributed on-line monitoring system, DOMINE, is presented; its portability on Unix platforms and the powerful graphic interface make DOMINE well suited for distributed and heterogeneous systems.
