Abstract
Reasoning about knowledge is one of the most challenging problems in philosophy, artificial intelligence and logic. Various approaches have been presented, such as nonmonotonic reasoning, fuzzy sets, probabilistic logic, and so on. In this paper we focus on rough set philosophy to describe reasoning about knowledge, which is understood as the ability to classify objects. Rough sets are used as a mathematical tool to deal with uncertain and imprecise data. The aim of this paper is to present a complete formal system for reasoning based on incomplete information of a multi-agent system. The logic under consideration is a multi modal logic that can be used as a query language for groups of agents.
