Abstract
We summarize the main features and principles of MagHy, a system implemented to control, redirect and track down simulations in a distributed environment for magnetohydrodynamics. The system has been designed and implemented following a client-server model with an object orieted methodology and is compliant to CORBA specification. Tools for the analysis of multidimensional vector and scalar fields are provided. This research has been partially funded by UE, Human Capital and Mobility, Contract N. CHRX-CT93-0410.
