Abstract

In this paper we present an approach to model a complex information system based on the integration of existing information systems. We emphasise on the comparison phase of the integration process in which similarities and conflicts between the initial systems must be detected. We show how object classes can be compared using behavioural aspects of objects and we discuss conflicts that can occur between object classes and we give rules to resolve them.
