Abstract

Thus, under the major concern for integration, the issues which I believe need promotion for the advance of CASE support are distribution, the need to cope with inconsistency and the need for real method guidance. Our current work on ViewPoints aims to facilitate distributed development and the use of multiple representation schemes. The approach is based on partitioning the application domain, the notations and the method steps into separate distributable Viewpoints [2], with a configurable framework for method and tool integration
