A Questionnaire-based Discount Evaluation Method using Guidelines for Process Control Interactive Applications

  • Conference paper
Tools for Working with Guidelines

Abstract

In order to put in a prominent position positive and negative aspects about human-machine interfaces in a supervisory control room, “fast” evaluation methods (or so-called discount evaluation methods) can be used. One of these, based on guidelines, is presented in this paper. It is based on a questionnaire guiding the analysis. It has been applied to study a control room of a chemical process.
