Support System for Cooperative Edition of Multimedia Documents

  • Conference paper
OOIS’94

Abstract

This paper describes a support system for cooperative edition of multimedia documents. This system concerns high level document’s processing submitted to constraints of quality insurance. It uses a standard document representation (ODA, SGML) and an access path to the information system of the human organisation in order to maintain the global consistency. We present the first level prototype of our system, based on the integration of common softwares (MS- WINDOWS, UNIX, DORIS, ORACLE DBMS, etc.), and hardwares (PC, Unix servers). We present also DORIS which is an object oriented document management system developed by EVER.
