Abstract
Most software systems are developed to provide information for decision making. Yet the decision maker is often neglected in current system analysis and design practice. As a result, many decisions that could be made by the help of computers are instead made from manual methods and/or from irrelevant information. This paper proposes an extension to the Object- Oriented Analysis (OOA)-Object-Oriented Design (OOD) method [Coad & al, 91] for building software systems to include piloting information. The approach presented is based on the use of strategic blackboards.
