Abstract

Cloud computing is ideal for running data intensive and computational intensive applications whether it is business applications or scientific applications. It raises the requirement of reducing the running costs and maximizing the revenues while maintaining or even improving the service quality. It is predicted that cloud computing is the mainstream technology and development in the future 100 years in IT industry. But cloud computing is also facing a lot of questions such as complex industrial environment and technical problems. This paper provides the readers with a basic understanding of services, securities, and challenges in cloud computing, it also enables the application developers and security researchers to acquire the current development status about the cloud computing.
