Abstract

In this paper, some load balancing algorithms were used in order to solve the problem of congestions in the networks through a load balancer. In order to investigate the performance of these algorithms, Riverbed network simulator is used. Some performance parameters were studied such as CPU utilization on the server, user equipments and end-to-end delay to the servers. As well as the case of failure of the servers in cloud computing is studied especially its effect on the ongoing applications represented by http application is analyzed.
