Abstract

With the rapid development of economic construction, we need more power than ever before. In order to improve the quality and stability of the power supply, the smart grid has broad application prospects. In the construction of the smart grid, we improve the efficiency of energy utilization and management system operation and effectively promote the development of power grid system construction. The emergence of smart grid makes our lives safer, more convenient, more economical and more practical than before. Many advantages of the smart grid make its future development prospects become extremely broad. This paper studies the development of smart grid system and its development mechanism analysis, communication platform needs to cooperate with the smart grid business for unified planning; power communication platform is an open network architecture, is a general communication standard. The information between equipment and equipment is interoperable. Electric power communication network can not only extend to the terminal of relevant power generation, transmission, and transformation, terminal equipment, but also provide an effective communication network to support smart grid data acquisition, protection and control services.
