Abstract

BCube network is one of the most classical structures in the server-centered data center networks. The diagnosability of BCube is very important for the network reliability. However, there are few complete theoretical studies in this area. In this paper, the t/t-diagnosis strategy is adopted for the BCube network system under the Preparata, Metze, and Chien’s (PMC) model. And meanwhile, the corresponding diagnosis algorithm is designed to be applied in the scenarios with more wrong nodes. Finally, we prove that the t/t-diagnosability for \( {\text{BC}}u{\text{be}}_{k,n} \) is \( \left( {2k + 1} \right)\left( {n - 1} \right) - 2 \) for \( n \ge 2 , \) \( k \ge 3 \) based on theoretical analysis and simulation experiments.
