Abstract
This work is the product of an investigation that aims to develop a model that allows the consolidation of the informal human settlement Monte Sinahí, located in the northeast of the city of Guayaquil - Ecuador. The structure of the methodological process is carried out in two phases: in Phase 1 it consists in carrying out an exhaustive process of research and selection of methodology based on participatory methods, application in informal urban contexts of Latin America. Phase 2 consists on the design of diagnostic processes and urban model for the consolidation of informal human settlements in Guayaquil, based on the study of participatory activities carried out.
