Abstract

The development of precious metal jewelry requires very good management in terms of design, material cost, good marketing and advertising, and good market positioning. This includes many aspects that, in the right approach, build a complete system of expensive business. With the development of modern technological means it is possible to pre-fabricate jewelry models in a computer solid environment in which it is possible to calculate the amount of precious metal material used. The purpose of this study is to develop a system that provides preliminary data on the geometric features of expensive jewelry models while at the same time calculating material costs.

Namely: The Advanced Technologies in Design is a discipline taught at Technical University of Varna characterized by the application of modern technological tools such as CIM systems and its sections, as well as other innovative applications.
