Abstract

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a kind of medicine that has been passed down for thousands of years in China and is rich in cultural characteristics. Nowadays TCM is moving towards modernization and intelligence, and its status is constantly improving. Smart TCM is to realize the intellectualization of TCM diagnosis and treatment with the help of the concept and technology of smart medicine under the TCM system. However, in the process of TCM intellectualization, there are also some problems such as complicated hospital treatment process, imbalanced regional medical resources, and slow transmission of TCM knowledge.

In view of the above problems, this paper starts from the perspective of service design, and builds an ideal user behavior process in a smart TCM system with users based on the real scenario of users asking for doctors in TCM. Using the user journey graph to analyze the user’s pain points and opportunities at each touch point, it is concluded that the optimization function of the smart Chinese medicine service system should have four functional modules: smart doctor, physiological test, disease feedback, and patient community. And this paper proposes the construction strategy of the service system, and finally presents the smart TCM service system design in the form of service blueprint. This research is an effective exploration of building smart TCM service system based on service design method, which has theoretical and practical significance for the future development of smart TCM.
