Abstract

Industry 4.0 brought an impact on the traditional structure of many companies. Therefore, several sectors were affected, including education. In this context, the need for an educational formation more aligned with the contemporary world was perceived to prepare young people for the challenges of the 21st Century. This parameter redefines the education format, known as Education 4.0. In this sense, this paper presents the Teacher Assistance Educational Process (TAEP4.0) to support teachers in activities related to Education 4.0. Thus, we conducted two exploratory studies with education professionals to verify the contribution of TAEP4.0 to the teaching and learning processes. The results showed that TAEP4.0 can broaden teachers’ knowledge and interaction with Education 4.0, encouraging in students 21st Century skills and competencies such as creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Besides, it was realized that TAEP4.0 could be used by the educational network for teacher training and development of the school’s projects.
