Abstract
The socket is necessary for office electricity, and the design of it directly affects the user experience of people’s office electricity. According to the design theory of user research, a user survey questionnaire has been designed and issued, and the problems of current office sockets have been extracted through the questionnaire for the office environment problems that wire is easily wound, plug interference, can not be placed at will, occupy space, and not coordinated with the surrounding products. The demands for the use of the office socket have been put forward through the research on the problems found by offline interview, observation, real user simulation and so on. The opportunities and new directions of the design of office sockets are put forward from the product appearance, product use humanization, safety through in-depth analysis of the user needs.
