Abstract

Considering that the traditional three-dimensional (3D) digital city structure model has a poor reconstruction effect in terms of reconstruction time and optical flow direction, this study proposed a 3D digital city structure model based on image modeling technology. By assessing the error between digital city image points and 3D structure points, 3D structure feature points of the digital city were obtained. Combining with image modeling technology, the matching feature points of 3D structures in the digital city were collected, and the initial matching point pairs of 3D digital city structures were selected. The spatial coordinate system of the digital city was calculated by parametrizing the camera model, and the dynamic texture matching points of the digital city 3D structure were extracted using image modeling technology to determine 3D spatial orientation. Finally, the 3D digital city structure model was constructed by converting the camera coordinate system and urban actual coordinate system. Experimental results suggested that the 3D digital city structure model based on image modeling technology can shorten the reconstruction time of digital city 3D structures and improve the accuracy of the direction angle of optical flow.
