Abstract

Digital medical images must be stored or transmitted via internet in a secure way to ensure authenticity and preserve image quality to avoid mistake in medical diagnosis. A multiple watermarking scheme can serve these purposes. The multiple watermark consists of a robust part and a fragile part. The robust part is embedded in Region of Non-Interest within a medical image, usually containing ownership and medical record of a patient. Meanwhile, a fragile part is embedded in Region of Interest within a medical image which it can detect a tampering or modification in the medical image. In this paper, we implement Reed Muller Code in multiple watermarking based on Wavelet and Hash Block Chaining to achieve the purposes mentioned above. We show that the proposed scheme can detect some tampering and increase robustness from various attacks.
