Abstract

Product serialization and it’s design reuse is the basic strategy for enterprise product development. To achieve the goal of design reuse for industrial brakes, the content and enabling techniques of design reuse are concluded and the study of classification for industrial brakes is made. On the basis of design commonality analysis between industrial brakes, key problems and design reuse methods architecture for industrial brakes are proposed, which offer ideas for the development of design reuse software platform for industrial brakes.
