Abstract
The article presents an integrated supervision and control system for air electric aggregates for isolated consumers. Optimal control was achieved through the development of an integrated hardware and software system rather than through the implementation of some optimized control algorithms. The hardware system comprises a central processing unit equipped with an i80C31 microcontroller, an analog input–output module, a digital input–output module, a counter-timer module and a RS485 serial communication module. The operation of the system is based on the linearized power–voltage characteristic of the unit and a sequential automata was designed to control the system.
