Abstract

The present article is concerned with topical issues of creation and organization of knowledge management systems. The background is briefly run through; current trends of information system development are noted. Different types of knowledge are analyzed; the significance of implicit knowledge types for cognitive activity and new knowledge creation is noted. Advantages and application of artificial intelligence methods and models within creation of knowledge management systems are discussed.
