Abstract

With the rapid advance of mobile communication technologies, to design the next generation mobile social networks with content centric architecture has attracted much attention. However, in such content centric mobile social networks, on one hand, there are a huge number of interest packets to be forwarded. On the other hand, to deliver the content to the destination, the forwarding node and relay node need to be efficiently selected. Therefore, in this paper we present a novel scheme to deal with the above two problems. Firstly, based on the analyses of the degree, capacity and mobility of nodes, methods to select the agent node to forward interest packets and the relay node to transmit the data packets are proposed. Secondly, with the consideration of content popularity and communities properties, the priorities to forward the interest packets and provide the corresponding data packets are defined. Finally, with the defined priorities, we present the scheme to deliver the mobile social content by the selective agent nodes and relay nodes. The simulation results show that the proposal can outperform the conventional schemes with the reduced delay.
