Abstract

This paper describes an attempt to analyze frequencies of noise occurring in urban areas using an Android-based smartphone. The proposed solution enables audio writing to the device’s memory, analysis on the device and transmission of results to the server. The article presents results of tests carried out in the city of Krakow.
