Abstract

Membrane computing is a new branch of natural computing. In recent years, with the rapid development, membrane systems are divided into three categories: Cell-type membrane systems, Tissue membrane system, Neuronal membrane system. Spiking neural membrane system (Spiking Neural P Systems) is a special type of neuronal membrane system, referred to as SN P system, which is a new branch of membrane computing. It not only has the scientific significance of the computer, but also in terms of biological modeling and simulation have potential applications. In this paper, the concept and principles of spiking neural membrane system, the current species and varieties spiking neural membrane system are analyzed, some research progress theory expounded.
