Abstract
Along with the rapid development of urbanization and commercial economy, the size of buildings become bigger and bigger, and the internal structure tend to be more complex. Addressing, navigating and providing location service indoors have a good prospect in several areas such as business development, three-dimensional traffic navigation and public safety. Aiming at the requirement of more efficient and convenient indoor map service, WeChat two-dimensional code technology is introduced in this paper. The paper puts forward methods to compressing map data and storing it in the two-dimensional code effectively, and techniques to decoding two-dimensional code and displaying the map. A prototype system was developed and tested with 3 indoor maps and the method is proved to be feasible and promising.
