Abstract

Recent studies state that people familiar with an environment prefer landmarks with semantic salience, while people unfamiliar with an environment prefer landmarks with outstanding visual and structural characteristics. Current landmark salience models are not able to provide such personalized landmarks. To tackle this problem we proposed a multidimensional model for personalized landmarks and identified attributes of the personal dimension. This poster focuses on the next step, the calculation of potential values of the attributes and the discussion of their relationships.
