Abstract
People with special needs can have difficulties accessing and using mobile applications if they are not adapted or designed for them. A key feature in accessing and using successful mobile applications is to build user profiles that accurately represent the user’s characteristics and disabilities. The main goal of this research is to present a new classification of the user’s disabilities that implicitly build ontology-based user profiles that can be used by a recommender system. This classification includes some other characteristics such as personal details to perform a complete user profile. A complete user profile could provide better accessibility to new technologies for users with any impairment, leading to greater inclusion.
