Abstract
As a cloud computing application, virtual desktop service has attracted increasing attention from educational institutes because it allows students to learn outside the confines of specific time and place by granting them access to authorized software which was previously inaccessible off campus. In other words, students can continue their learning by using the authorized software after leaving the campus. Hence, understanding students’ continuance intention to use such kind of service will enhance its prospects in educational institutes. The information systems continuance model was employed in this study to achieve this goal. The research findings of this study revealed that students’ continuance intention is primarily influenced by perceived usefulness; while perceived usefulness is mainly affected by confirmation. It implies that students’ expectation confirmation is the key factor to the success of this service.
