Abstract

This papers describes the use of professional, commercial laparoscopic simulators to create a database of training results achieved by several groups of participants. The aim of this project was to create a common parameter database for two devices (LapSim and eoSurgical) to evaluate the trainees’ performance. In order to deepen the statistical analyses and to draw conclusions, it is useful to identify additional parameters concerning the experience for the subjects studied. Such parameter will help to further evaluate training effectiveness.
