Abstract
The teaching spatial orientation of blind children currently takes place through traditional methods such as orientation courses in artificial environments with objects set in them. This paper proposes a virtual sound reality based on the use of semantic techniques such as specially created ontologies and relevant application machines that could considerably modernize these methods. Such virtual sound reality can be used to create systems for teaching the spatial orientation of the blind with appropriate software.
