Abstract
Carl Adam Petri never wrote a book, and his few papers are generally not written in the standard format of scientific articles, being so rich and dense that they constitute a serious challenge for readers, even experts. On the other hand, he dedicated great care to his slides, preparing a new collection for almost every talk he gave.
