Abstract

At iNNOVA IT Solutions, with our team of more than 1300 IT professionals, we tailor platform-independent customized software and systems solutions. The ALM tool infrastructure has been continuously improved over the several years in order to maintain the work item traceability, define a single source of truth and increase communication and collaboration which is one of the key cultural aspects of DevOps. This paper describes how the tool infrastructure is set up and used in order to manage traceability between work items such as change requests, configuration items, technical documents, test cases, technical tasks and code; make use of the knowledge base and history during impact analysis; track the real time status of releases, change requests, sprints, test plans and all the related work items; generate formatted customer documentation in long term maintenance projects.
